We are excited to share with you Oregon’s only wine from this interesting variety that hails from Southwestern France and the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. With the success we’ve experienced making wines from Tannat, which excels in that same region. This is our first release in any quantity, and we are privileged to share this small production with you. Négrette combines firm tannins with explosive fruit to produce a one-of-a-kind wine in Oregon. We assure you that if you bring this wine to a dinner party, it will not only be the hit of the night, but a new experience for everyone at the table. It’s hard to say how long this style of wine should age, but we suggest drinking it now or over the next two years.
